Ages 5-10
The
quest for adventure has begun!
Don’t miss out on this weekly kids club
featuring action Bible stories, contests, games, and prizes!
AdventureQuest is an activity-based Scripture-memory work
program that meets weekly during the school year. Children are
grouped by grade, and rotate through multiple stations including
Bible stories, Scripture memory work, and game-time. Handbooks
provide age-appropriate learning and memory work, and children
are rewarded for participating, and completing Scripture memory
work.
Memory work is independent, and children may proceed at their
own rate. To complete a handbook each year, it is recommended
children complete one section in the book each week. Children
may recite verses for any translation; the child should provide
a copy of the translation to the adult approving the recitation
if using a translation that varies from the handbook. Children
that complete the handbook for their age prior to the completion
of the AdventureQuest session may complete recommended
supplemental Scriptures for additional prizes.
Adults and teens are staff for AdventureQuest, and may also
participate in memory work with age-appropriate awards for their
memory work achievements as well.
AdventureQuest at Lakeshore Christian Church will follow the
school schedule for Lakeshore School District; in the event
school is out of session for holidays, breaks, or cancelled due
to inclement weather, AdventureQuest will also be out of
session.
$30 Registration fee includes polo shirt,
handbag, and all materials, including handbook and prizes. |

Guide to Simple Christianity
The Church
Going On Now!
Sundays at 9:30am
Written by:
Senior Minister
Walter
McCutcheon.
The Church – What is the church? Simple
Christians strive to imitate the organization, structure and
mission of the church using examples of the Church when it first
began. How was the church organized? Who led the church? What
was important to the Church? What was the mission of the
church? These questions and more are answered in this important
class.
The Salvation Relationship
"Getting Hooked up with Jesus"
Written by:
Senior Minister
Walter
McCutcheon.
Our salvation - whether we will go to heaven or not - hinges
on the fact that we are either in a right relationship with
God, or we are not. Salvation is about our personal
relationship with God right now. It is possible to attend
worship, be a generally nice person, and still not be right
with God. God wants all of us to be saved, yet he does not
force himself on us and take away our free will. We have the
right to accept him or reject him, and based on that decision,
we will receive the blessings or the consequences of that
choice. Faith Quest: The Salvation Relationship
is a core class for anyone who wants to have a right
relationship with God.
The Fundamentals
Written by:
Senior Minister
Walter McCutcheon.
The Fundamentals answers six important questions,
including: Is there a God? Is Jesus the Son of God? Is the Bible
the Word of God? Why is there an Old Testament and New Testament
in the Bible? What is sin? and What is grace? Faith Quest: The
Fundamentals is a core class for anyone seeking to understand
the basics of Simple Christianity
Spirituality
Written by:
Senior Minister
Walter
McCutcheon.
Spirituality – What does it mean to be a
spiritual person? What is difference between a spiritual person
and a religious person? What is a spiritual discipline and why
are they important? What are some practical things we can do to
become more spiritual people? These questions and more are
answered in this class.
